Eyes of Fury

This is a shoot I recently did for my friend. It’s a cosplay of a lady Japanese Samurai. I rarely do cosplay shoots but it’s good to try something different once in a while.

Here are the pics!

Street

Hello there everyone! It’s been a while and I’m glad to be back here again.

This time Im going to show some of the work that I shot on the streets of Tokyo.

I really like taking snaps of models on the street. Its quite a challenge. You have to deal with onlookers or passersby most of the time. You also need to have a very good knowledge of the location in order to know what spots can be used and of those that can suit the kind photo that you want to create.
It can also be hassle-free. I don’t have to bring a lot of equipment with me most of the time. Most of the time a couple of prime lenses and extra memory will do for me.

Anyway here it is. Hope you’ll like the photos and I hope to post more work on my  blog soon.

2nd Photopoyan Model Shoot

After our Summer Fun Shoot, the Photopoyers just can’t get enough and wanted to do another model shoot,  so we decided to organize another one for the Photopoyan photography club. The sooner could have been better, but we had to wait for some time due to a lot of circumstances but it’s always worth it if it can give you the opportunity to have two beautiful models pose for you.

We had Naomi and Gemaine as models for the sexy fashion-ish shoot. It was also my first time to work with my very close friend-make-up artist Yukiko.

Here are some of the shots I took during the shoot.

Naomi

Gemaine

My favorite shot of the shoot came from a least expected camera.. my iphone 5.

And here is the crew after a fun-filled day of shooting

Crimson Pearl

I always love kimono projects. I always hold a high level of enthusiasm doing them and I try my best to do a kimono shoot at least once a year.

I am very glad to finally get one this year. This was a collaboration between model JL and make-up artist  Niki Medina.

Summer Fun Shoot

I am glad to get my blog rolling again. Its been a while since I was here.

Earlier this month, I helped organize a model shoot for the Photopoyan photographers club. Most of the members haven’t tried a model shoot so we decided to give them a first hand experience in shooting models.

Marica modeled for the shoot  and since it’s summer here in Japan having a beach-swimwear shoot was an easy choice for a theme.

Here are some photos I took from our shoot.

Marica was really fun and easy to work with and sure was the perfect model for the activity. The guys really enjoyed taking pictures of her and she also enjoyed posing.

It was really a great experience for the “Photopoyers”  that it left them wanting for more. I wouldn’t hesitate giving them a hand again in organizing a model shoot and I really look forward to joining the group’s fun-filled activities.
